Why do I love walking?

Adam Mazek Photography. Warsaw 2018. Abstraction.

I enjoy walking, not only because I make a lot of photographs while doing this activity. I love wandering because it is also time for contemplation and relaxation. Moreover, while walking, endorphin’s level in our body goes up. I do not see the disadvantages of doing this activity.

When I am wandering on foot, practically, I always feel inflow of inspiration. While moving around, a lot of fresh concepts come to my mind. When I smell the fresh air (of course, if there is no smog in the air) and when I feel the pavement under my shoe sole, the world is mine. I feel that “excitement” is pumping through my veins from head to toe. I am joyed and happy. When I am walking, I have a feeling that my body is healthy. It is not the accident that when humans are not able to walk, they panic. We can see it clearly in John Schlesinger’s movie, “Midnight Cowboy. ” Unforgettable roles of the duet: Dustin Hoffmann and John Voight, bring us a lot to think about our life.

Nevertheless, when I know that my body is healthy, I feel the spiritual, aesthetic well-being inside my mind.

I have already mentioned that I love swimming. Of course, nothing changed here since this post. The advantage of walking, over the swimming, is the fact that during your foot journey you can take pictures of whatever you spot. Moreover, while wandering through the streets of your city or the paths of your town, you can analyze everything you see. You can easily contemplate and explain not only your visual seeing but also a lot of other things. While walking, you can be imaginative, you can dream in your mind. Moreover, you can analyze a lot of issues that can occur in your life.

I know that everything that I am writing in this post is, for most of you, my Dear Guests, obviousness.

Nevertheless, I assure you that there are still a lot of people who do not like walking. I cannot force them to do that, but I want to encourage skeptics that the sooner they will start to walk regularly, the faster their health will improve. Not only health. If you mix walking with taking photographs, you will also gain a much more wide perspective and knowledge about surrounding us, our world. In the end, your artistic skills will improve.
