I take cold showers because I feel much better thanks to doing it.
The truth is that I wrote many posts about exposing the body to coldness. Still, the last time I noticed, I did not explain why I take cold showers in simple words. I had a similar case with cold showers like intermittent fasting. After starting to practice these two things, I realized I was feeling awful earlier. Exposing my body to cold temperatures (I do it mainly by taking freezing showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures outside) improved my health, body resistance, and well-being. I have no doubts that combining intermittent fasting and exposing the body to cold temperatures (with taking freezing showers at the forefront) is one of the most remarkable activities people can do to improve well-being and health. These things are a booster to one’s energy level.
I would place them along with another thing: doing workouts.
I have no doubts that taking freezing showers strengthened my body, heart, mind, and soul. Undoubtedly, I feel less stressed thanks to doing it. In stressful situations, I naturally remain calm. I want to encourage, my Dear Friend, to try romancing with cold. For me, it is also a challenge. Every time I take a cold shower, I feel I am getting out of my comfort zone. Indeed, taking a freezing shower is like fighting with my worst enemy: myself. I feel clean, refreshed, and reborn whenever I get out of the shower stall. It is a moment when I know I can do many tremendous things because I can overcome my fears and worst enemy.
I wrote this text on the 24th of April, 2022. How happy I am that I can take cold showers 365 days a year! I finish this writing. I will go to take a cold shower and cool down my body.
