Why does it take so long?

In this post, I will not write why a battle with coronavirus takes so long.

I wrote this post on the first of April, 2020. I would lie if I wrote that I am not wondering how long it will take to overcome the virus. Nevertheless, today I will write why does it take so long to prepare a subsequent edition of “Diaries.” In the post named “The process of Diaries creation, step by step,” I wrote that:

The whole process of Diaries creation, step by step, can take from two to three weeks. Why? It depends on many issues. I will write about them in the future.

Today is the future. Thus, I will provide to you, my Dear Friend, explanations of why does the process of “Diaries” creation takes so long. First of all, the process of “Diaries” creation takes so long, because I have many other responsibilities in my life. I work as an accountant 40 hours per week, from 8 am to 4 pm. Thus, much of my time, I devote myself to my work. I think that I should not explain to you that we all have many liabilities, we have to pay bills, so working is an essential part of most people’s lives. Later on, I have responsibilities to my family, that is my beloved Kamilka, my parents, and so on. I cannot imagine living without them. I think that it is quite evident that I want to give them my time, energy, and vital power.

Next, when I have time to my biggest passion, that is photography and writing, the first things that I want to do are:

  1. walking and taking pictures;
  2. if it is morning, I write new texts;
  3. or, if it is afternoon, after work, I focus on adding a new post on the website;
  4. if I do not want to make any of the points from a) to c), then I prepare “Diaries.”

In conclusion, I want to stress that physically I cannot devote much of my time to prepare “Diaries.” Nevertheless, thanks to the fact that before publishing the first edition, I already finished a few versions, I have a lot of time in reserve. Thus, preparing “Diaries” can take from two to three weeks. Moreover, I know that the subsequent editions I will be publishing on time and regularly.
