Why self-publishing? I believe that we live in the best times in human history in which we can self-publishing both our works of art and thoughts. But why should we do this?
I know that many people will not agree with me, but I believe that most people who live on this planet have something interesting to say. Many of us possess many unique voices, know many compelling histories about other people, or had many adventures that one could describe and analyze. The problem is that most people do not have time and enough attention to sit, focus, and write down all thoughts. Moreover, I am convinced that most people do not believe in themselves. They do not think that they also possess enough power to sit down and start writing about interesting topics. I was not an exception. Before I began to self-publish, I did not believe that I could manage a blog, including odd pictures and texts. I was convinced that I do not have time for it.
Luckily, since I launched the www.adammazek.com web site, I know that it is my lifelong project. There are many ways to become worldwide famous even after death.
One way is to properly raise a child that will move and/or transform your thoughts for the next generations. Another way to become immortal in people’s minds is self-publishing. I am curious how many years after my death, my blog will be existing. Who knows, maybe after my death, my blog becomes a virtual museum of my artistic activity? I do not know. Still, I believe that self-publishing (whether these are simple blog posts or PDF files, like „Diaries”) is one of the best ways to externalize and immortalize your thoughts and feelings. Who knows, maybe by doing it, you will become a world-famous blogger who will inspire future generations. Is that mean that my aim is to become immortal? No. I merely want to have fun while self-publishing.
