Today (I wrote this text on the 5th of October, 2024), I was wondering if someone will ever read all my texts from the beginning till the end.
I must admit it would be a tough challenge even for me. The sheer volume of my writing is both daunting and exhilarating. I do not plan to re-read all my texts from the past. For me, it would be too much, and I prefer to know other people’s thoughts. For today, I published 1643 posts. Moreover, an additional 83 posts are scheduled and ready to be published anytime. Considering I have another 170 texts written but not scheduled yet, and knowing that each text has approximately 300 words, it gives us an amount of 1896 posts needed to be read (if someone would like to read all my texts from the beginning till the end), with 568,800 words to be read. I am slowly getting close to the Bible’s length.
Depending on its version, it has from 727,969 to 783,137 words.
Do I write to break any record? Of course not. I write for the pure joy. The joy of crafting each sentence, the joy of sharing my thoughts, the joy of leaving a piece of me in every word. Also, I want to share something with others and leave my thoughts, insights, and ideas for posterity. I would treat this text somewhat as a curiosity. I am often wondering and rocking in the clouds about the future.
This text is not an exception. I am simply wondering if there is a person on this planet who will manage to read all my written work. What about if I am able to write for another fifty years? Remember, my Dear Friend, that while writing this text, I was thirty-nine. I do not know what the future holds. What I know is that I will do my best to be prolific in writing until my final days or until my health lets me do it.
