I hope winter 2023/2024 won’t be too much freezing – especially in Ukraine.
I do not have to mention that Poland is Ukraine’s neighboring country. A few days ago, I read in one of the Polish news portals that if Winter 2023/2024 is harsh in Central-Eastern Europe, the Russian orc troops will make another offensive in Ukraine. When I read it, I hoped winter wouldn’t be too harsh. On the other hand, I reminded myself of walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures, and I realized I wanted a freezing Winter in Poland. So what do I want precisely? I want a light Winter in Ukraine and a harsh one in Poland. Can I influence the weather anyhow? The answer is obvious. Should we worry about things we cannot control? Once again, the answer is apparent. That’s why I realized while writing this text that it does not make sense at all.
Still, I decided to continue this writing for the sake of writing, expressing my feelings, and transforming my thoughts into words.
I do not know what else I can write about Winter 2023/2024 except that I cannot wait for it. I wrote this text on the 7th of September, 2023. Tomorrow and during the next week, it should be 29 degrees Celsius (84,2 degrees Fahrenheit). Warm and hot temperatures bored me a bit, and I simply could not wait for the cold in Poland. I hope no matter what the weather will be, the Ukrainians will defend their territory and chase away the Russian orcs once and for all. For today, I will focus on walking in hot temperatures and doing street photography. Will it ever bore me? I do not think so. The older I live, the more I see that all days are unique, and every part of the day and place is proper for taking pictures, regardless of the weather.
