I wrote the “Write, write, write” text on the 19th of March, 2025, after our return from Zakopane to Warsaw.
I told myself the title of this post while driving from the capital of the Polish mountains to Poland’s capital. Does it mean that I was rocking in the clouds while driving? No, I just had some thoughts that during my spare time, I should devote more time to writing. I wanted to switch my mind to the “Write, write, write.” mode. I wrote two texts while in Zakopane. Still, I could write two additional ones. I think total laziness was the main reason I did not note anything during the first part of the trip.
Today, I want to stress that I aim to write for the sake of writing.
I believe in the creative process even if I do not have anything special to communicate, like today. This process involves taking the next steps with each writing post. Even if I do not have a specific aim for my writing and I do not know where the way of creating content will lead me, I feel it is simply one of the best things I can do for the whole of humanity. I believe in myself and in all my artistic endeavors.
Also, I believe in the written word.
After all, most of our knowledge about ancient civilizations comes from words carved in stone. I do not know if writing in cyberspace, as you read my thoughts on the www.adammazek.com blog, will be as durable as masterpieces written in stone. Will I publish a book someday? Who knows. Perhaps I will. Still, I do not want to be famous and earn money for my writing. I note because I believe it is worth doing to be remembered by posterity.
