I never liked writing. I remember that during Polish lessons in elementary school or high school practically always, I received three as a school grade. This school grade was the average score (the scale was from one [the worst mark] to six [the best school grade]).
Moreover, during all years of my education (from 1992 to 2009), I did not like to read. I was doing it when I had to. Neither writing and reading did not passionate me. Now I know that sometimes, some of us have to grow up, to start doing useful things (like reading or writing). I began to read regularly in 2011. During my studies, I was focused on having good fun with friends rather than learning wise things. Why did I start to read? Because of the injury. Since then, I am doing it practically all the time. I hope that this flow will last until the end of my life.
I suppose that a similar thing will be with writing my posts. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I never liked writing — neither in Polish or English language. If someone told (for example, in 2016) that I will be writing posts for my blog, I would say that this person needs serious help!
I always thought that I would never find any inspiration and motivation to write.
But somehow I started to do that. In the beginning, I forced myself to write because I wanted to possess my platform, where I will share my photographs. The idea that I will add the content to them came afterward. It was May 2017 when I wrote my first post. Drafting of the first post took me half of a day. Since the very beginning, I write in English. Why? I explained it in one of the previous posts. Today, I write one post in less than one hour. The more I write, the more I want to continue it. For today, it is my new passion. This passion is practically equal to making photographs, reading books, or doing sports. I love, and I do not want to stop doing this.
Will I inspire you to do the same?
I don’t know. I would encourage you to try to do this – maybe it will also work for you. Try to find your creative way of expressing yourself, no matter if it is writing, shooting photos on the streets, dancing, or playing the piano. Stick to your passion and follow your creative way until the end of life.
