Write down everything you think about and have in your mind, and edit and correct it as the last step. That’s my writing advice for you, my Dear Friend.
I wrote many times about my way of writing. I do it by transforming my thoughts into written words. Often, while writing, I close my eyes. It is a moment when I am left with my thoughts. Anything external disturbs me in writing. It is not the case that I do it because I am tired. Closing my eyes and writing help me focus on practically everything you read, my Dear Friend. I’ve never mentioned closing my eyes while writing, but I want to stress I do it today. Is it also my writing advice? It could. Try it yourself, my Dear Friend. Indeed, even though I have regularly written since May 2017 (I wrote the current text on the 25th of March, 2024), I still feel that it is only the beginning of my writing journey.
I still haven’t written anything groundbreaking and profound.
I believe in myself and all my creative doings and will write many great things in the future. Practice makes perfect. I think the more I write, the more I do this practical exercise of transforming my thoughts into written words, the better results I will get. I love it when words stream flow out of my mind and appear on a white virtual sheet of paper. My way of writing is somewhat connected with my inner dialogue with myself. I often confront my thoughts with what other people could tell me about a specific topic.
I think I’ve already written a text stating that I contemplate and write by imagining dialogues with people I know or used to know. Also, intermittent fasting and exposing my body to cold (by taking freezing showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures) helped me focus my attention on writing. My thoughts became more apparent, and transforming them into words began flowing efficiently and smoothly.
