I wrote this text with a rested mind.
To be more precise, I wrote it on the 6th of October,2024, while being in Brok at my beloved parents’ home. I wrote it at 3 p.m. within twenty minutes (I had twenty minutes to write). Today, I want to stress the importance of being rested during the creative process. The truth is that most of my posts I wrote while I was tired, at the end of my day, after work and walking (rucking) and doing street photography. The truth is that after a night when I slept well, my creative process and thought clarity were much better than in the evening. It is not the case that I write bad things in the evening. I write much faster and more efficiently when I have a rested mind.
While writing all these things, I asked myself whether my office job prevented me from writing in the morning.
The answer is that my professional career (remember, my Dear Friend, that I work in a broadly defined finance world) does not prevent me from writing in the morning with a fresh and rested mind. I can always get up earlier and write before my job. The truth is that I write in the evenings during the weekend, in general. It is the same situation as in the working days. During weekends, I always prefer to start the day with reading.
Then, I like rucking (walking with a heavy rucksack – I add 12 kg [26 lbs to my rucksack]) and taking photos in Warsaw’s streets. Writing, I leave for the evening. I recalled that a few years ago, I preferred to wake up at 6 a.m., before my job, and write new texts with a fresh mind. Times have changed, and now I like to sleep longer and leave writing for the evenings.
