Today (I wrote this text on the 11th of March, 2026), I took 880 pictures and 31k steps! How was that possible?
On that day, I went to the office. After arriving, it appeared that nothing worked globally in my company. There was a cyber attack on my employer, and there was information that we would not work today (while writing this text in the evening, I already knew that I would not work tomorrow, on the 12th of March, 2026). Once I heard that, and knowing I had a camera in my rucksack (exceptionally, I did not have heavy barbell plates on that day), I decided to take a really long way to my home. During my long walk, I visited various neighborhoods.
(I will name them in chronological order; you can follow them in Google Maps):
a) Mirów, Nowolipki (both Wola district);
b) Muranów, Stare Miasto, Śródmieście Północne, Powiśle, Solec, Ujazdów (Śródmieście district);
c) Sielce, Wierzbno, and Wygledów (Mokotów district).

While walking, I had two stops for coffee, water, and pee.
I took one of the breaks at the Legia Sports & Bar pub near the stadium of my beloved team, Legia Warsaw. While writing all these things, I asked myself if I broke the record regarding taking so many photos and so many steps in one day. Regarding the number of photos, I have no doubt that I’ve never taken so many photographs during one day. Regarding the number of steps, I’ve never taken so many steps since I started counting steps via app (since 2017). I doubt if I would have taken so many steps earlier. Now, while writing this text, I feel my legs. I feel they hurt me. Still, tomorrow I plan to take another photo walk. Undoubtedly, it won’t be as long as today’s one. Still, I think it will be, again, a long walk! I doubt if I will manage to take 880 pictures.
