I wrote the “At last, it happened!” text on the 5th of March, 2026. It was a day when I could announce that I was doing street photography straight after my office work for the first time in 2026.
How happy I am that the days are getting longer. It means that during the next 6 months I will be going out after my office work to do street photography much more frequently than it happens in the Fall/Winter time. I do not know if I will manage to repeat the same thing tomorrow. After all, I am still working on Financial Statements, and audit (please, remember my Dear Friend, that I am working in a broadly defined finance area). Still, I am simply lucky that today I managed to do it. How many photos did I take? I took over 70 photos. In today’s post, I want to express my gratitude that I managed to live to my 41st spring (I was born on the 29th of March, 1985, so I still need to wait for my 41st birthday).
The more I walk and do street photography, the more I feel it is the essence of my life.
I am so happy that I managed to find so much joy in so relatively easy a task: walking in daylight and photographing whatever catches my eye. I wish you, my Dear Friend, to find a similar activity that would bring you so much happiness. Of course, it does not have to be street photography. I believe we can find joy in the simplest activities we can imagine. Still, I feel they should be connected with the broadly defined process of creating new things out of nothing. A similar thing is with writing. After all, this text came out of nowhere, that is, straight from my mind.
