Taking a cold shower in the mornings is the first win battle.

Undoubtedly, thanks to taking cold showers, I strengthened my self-esteem and overcame broadly defined fear.

Do I fear anything? Yes, a little bit. Still, I do not see a possibility that fear would destroy my self-confidence. The same issue is with stress. I know getting rid of stress once and for all is impossible. Still, I feel it cannot overcome my mind, heart, and soul. I know I win the first battle of the day by taking a cold shower in the morning. That’s why I know I can win every other competition during the day. This awareness helps me to survive and to be strong. The truth is that sooner or later, we all will face death. That’s why one should not be afraid and stressed about everything that can occur in one’s life.

Each cold shower is symbolic of getting out of your comfort zone.

Whenever I want to take a cold shower, I ask myself if I wish to do it. I always have a few seconds of doubts about whether I want to fight in this battle with myself. The longer I hesitate, the worse. I know I must do it to clean, refresh and revigorate myself. The truth is that the first seconds are always the worse. Still, after a minute, the whole body, mind, and soul are getting used to the cold. It is a moment when I say to myself,

I won.

The truth is that after this small success, I am ready for the next fight. In general, I would say that I fight with myself with my weaknesses. By taking a cold shower, I fight for myself, with myself. Undoubtedly, it is a daily katharsis after a good sleep. After sleeping and a cold shower, I am ready for the subsequent battles.
