I am not a diabetologist, but I proved to myself that most people should not eat frequently.
The longer I live, the more I see food companies do not want us to eat healthily. They want us to eat frequently. Ok, to be more precise, I do not want to present in this text food companies as bloodthirsty, soulless corporate juggernauts who want to squeeze blood from every one of us. No, they do not want to do it. They merely want to earn money and gain profits. That’s why they encouraged people, e.g., in advertisements, to eat frequently. The same thing is with medical companies. They also want to be as profitable as possible. That’s why they want to sell medicines to all of us.
I’m not up for this. I do not want to live to earn money, consume food and buy drugs. The truth is that I do not want to be a thoughtless consumer whose life is devoted to eating. How to unsign from this mad carousel of gluttony?
Intermittent fasting is the key.
In general, people should do intermittent fasting. It means that we should eat within a short period of daily time. For example, I eat only between 7 p.m. and 24 p.m. Are there any exceptions for humans who should not do intermittent fasting? Yes. According to Dr. Jason Fung’s „Complete Guide To Fasting: Heal Your Body Through Intermittent, Alternate-Day, and Extended Fasting” book, only children and pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid intermittent fasting. Eating only within a short period should be a must for other people. I encourage you, my Dear Friend, to not become the slave of gluttony and consumerism. Do it for yourself, for your health and well-being. Do not eat frequently.
Moreover, try to avoid as much sugar and processed food as possible. Eat eggs, meat, nuts, and vegetables. You will not regret it.
