I wrote this on the 6th of December, 2025, on Saturday, with a fresh mind.
During the last five days, having a fresh mind to write a new text was not something regular. I had a lack of it. Today, after sleeping for eight hours, I woke up at 10 a.m., took a refreshing and rejuvenating cold shower, and went by car to my beloved Parents’ house in Brok. After drinking coffee, together with my Dad, we went for a walk in the beautiful forest in Brok. Of course, I was rucking (I had a rucksack weighing almost 30 kg [66 lbs]), and I was wearing the www.adammazek.com t-shirt.
It was 6 degrees Celsius (43 degrees Fahrenheit).
After having a great conversation with my Dad and returning to our home, and drinking another cup of coffee, I realized I had a fresh mind. It was the first time I noticed after five days of hectic work in my office job (during those five days, I worked more than 6 days, considering the hours of my work). I love moments when I do not have to think too much about my office job, but when I can have a rest. I know I wrote it yesterday, but I must repeat it. Please, remember, my Dear Friend, that taking a rest is more important than hard work.
Without a proper rest, there won’t be hard work in the long term.
Also, there won’t be a fresh mind for your passion (for me, it is, among other things, writing). By having a proper rest, you are increasing the chances that you will manage to stand the challenges of hard work. Without a break and relaxation, you will burn out quickly. I love life. I love life even if sometimes it does not look as I would like it to look.
