On the 2nd of July, 2022, I wrote this text and went to my parent’s house in Brok. It was also a day when I celebrated my new job.
How did we celebrate it? For me, it was pretty extreme doings. First of all, I drank two beers. Moreover, I ate some candies (fudges). I know that such a celebration would mean nothing to millions worldwide. Still, for me, when we consider that I do not drink any alcohol or do not eat sweets, such a celebration was something totally different. Of course, I enjoy eating and drinking because I did it with my beloved parents. Still, after this celebration, my stomach hurt me. Undoubtedly, my organism is not used to digesting this type of food. I already wrote a text where I underlined that eating, even the tiny portions, has a tremendous impact on your body, mind, and soul.
Speaking shortly: eating influences our well-being.
Of course, it is not only the case that eating makes us happier in the short term. If one eats every three hours or more frequently, this person won’t feel a harmful food’s influence on one’s body and mood. Why? Because dangerous occurrences in one’s body happen practically all the time. Organisms focus mainly on digesting food, nothing more. In the long term, it slowly kills us. If you have doubts, my Dear Friend, you better read Dr. Jasons Fung’s book about intermittent fasting.
The older I am, the more I feel that alcohol or sweets should be consumed occasionally.
Once per week is (at least for me) too often. Moreover, once a month is also too frequent. Would eating sweets and drinking alcohol once per quarter be OK for me? No, it would be too often. I do not want to consume such things more frequently than once a half year. I want to live long, and I know that eating such stuff as candies and processed food would harm me and decrease my chance of living longer. How about you, my Dear Friend? How often do you celebrate by eating sweets or drinking alcohol?
