I doubt everything. I have my ups and downs.
I wrote this text on the 10th of April, 2026. It was a day when I, not for the first time in my life, doubted everything. I doubted not only my creative activities, but also my professional job. I doubted my writing skills. After all, if I were a pure genius, undoubtedly, I would already have been discovered by someone. But do I really need this “discovery?” I doubt I need it. Luckily, sometimes I am doubting in a positive way. Still, I remember that yesterday I was even doubting my pictures. Even though I was tremendously enjoying walking and photographing whatever caught my eye, I doubted whether my pictures would make any difference in the future.
Of course, I do believe in all my creative endeavors, with taking photos on the streets, and writing at the forefront.
Nevertheless, I am only a human. I have the right to doubt. I have the right to my personal ups and downs in every area of my life. That’s human nature. I wrote many times that I am not a demigod. I do not have to be the one, even if I could. Sometimes I think it is a relief not to have to be perfect in all aspects of our lives. Perfection destroys the joy of creating. I do not seek it while taking photos or writing. Still, even knowing that, I sometimes doubt everything, including the art world, the world of creation.
I do not know where my creative way would lead me.
I have no idea. I have no plans. The only thing I sincerely want is to get out of my home, take a walk, and if something catches my eye, photograph it. I do not need anything more to be content with my life. Still, even if I know it, I sometimes doubt everything.
