I decided not to do long photo walks frequently.
It is not only a matter of lack of time. I feel that after two long photo walks between the 21st and 22nd of May, 2026 (I wrote this text on the 24th of May, 2026), my muscles literally had decreased. I cannot explain it precisely, but I simply feel it. I see it. I do not want it. It does not mean I won’t be doing long photo walks in the future. I will be doing. After all, for example, tomorrow, I have a plan to take a long photo walk. Also, during holidays, I won’t be walking with a heavy rucksack.
While writing all these things, I recalled that I heard years ago that if someone runs (I do not run, but walk a lot – perhaps there is not much difference between these two activities in terms of muscle loss), not only fat, but also muscles are decreasing. I have no idea if it is true.
Perhaps I will have to ask Uncle Google about it.
For today, I simply feel and see that my muscle mass has decreased over the last few days. I bet it is connected with longer photo walks. The truth is that daily, I won’t have enough time to do longer photo walks (over 20-25k steps). Undoubtedly, occasionally, I will be doing it, but I do not predict that I will have a lot of time to do it. Also, feeling that my muscles have decreased, I won’t be that motivated to do it. Having natural muscles is equal to being healthy. There is no doubt about it. I wonder how, from the biological point of view, one could explain what had happened. Undoubtedly, I felt much more robust after shorter (over 10k steps) walks with a heavy rucksack. Also, I literally see that my arms are thinner than they were one week ago.
