I’m fine.

August 15, 2026 by Adam Mazek

It’s been almost my 72nd hour of fasting, and today, similar to yesterday, I want to say that I’m fine.

Does it mean I am not hungry? Yes, I am not hungry at all. Still, earlier, that is four hours ago (I wrote this text at 10 p.m., on the 24th of February, 2026), I was thinking about eating. I was not hungry. Still, my mind wanted something to eat. It wanted something to taste. Then, I drank a cup of tea and coffee, watched two YouTube movies about fasting’s benefits, and I gave up eating. I think I mentioned yesterday about dry fasting. I broke it earlier, after forty hours of not drinking anything at all. I simply felt I needed something to drink. I wrote many times here, on the www.adammazek.com blog, that we should listen to our bodies.

My body clearly communicated that I should drink something.

That’s why I did not break my record of not drinking from 2024 (it was 48 hours without any liquid). The truth is that I do not fast to break any record. I do not know if I will manage to break my record regarding normal fasting (94 hours). I hope I will manage to do it, but if not, nothing will happen. I simply want to recover from my injury faster. Fasting literally heals bodies. It cleanses it. Autophagy takes place during a period without eating.

When I see myself in the mirror, I see young Adam.

There is no better way to feel and look young than fasting. I truly recommend it to you, my Dear Friend. Of course, if you did not do it before, I recommend starting from 12/12 (12 hours of not eating, and 12 hours of eating). Then, after a few days or weeks, you can switch to the 16/8 rhythm (16 hours of fasting, and 8 hours of eating. Later, you can extend fasting periods. For example, I recommend OMAD (One Meal A Day).
