Undoubtedly, I am often inspired by Poles.
I wrote about Stanislaw Lem many times here, on the www.adammazek.com website. Undoubtedly, the Polish science-fiction writer is, for me, one of the most influential Polish writers. On the other hand, Zdzislaw Beksinski is one of the most significant visual Polish artists who gave me many incentives. Who are the other Polish people who gave me incentives? These are, for example, Frederic Chopin, Stanislaw Wyspianski, Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz (Witkacy), Magdalena Abakanowicz, or Robert Lewandowski. While writing about all these things, I want to stress today (I wrote this text on the 2nd of September, 2023) that I am inspired not only by Poles but, in general, by Poland almost every day.
The older I am, the more I respect Poland and most people living in my homeland.
I won’t write about politics today. Let politicians do what they want to do. Undoubtedly, today’s Poland success story is thanks to all the hard-working people who devote their blood, tears, and sweat to making Poland great again. By working and performing all my creative activities (with street photography and writing at the forefront), I want to give something to Poland from myself. I want to contribute to building one of the most potent countries that ever existed.
Does that mean I hope Poland will conquer other lands? Of course not. I am not as stupid as Putin, who thinks taking territory is a way of dominating and taking other nations’ territories. This method was influential in the XX and earlier centuries. I hope Poland will build a more extensive network of relationships with the most potent countries. Simultaneously, my homeland must invest in the army (If you wish for peace, prepare for war). I hope the Russian orcs will never return to Poland and Ukraine will drive away Rashists from their homeland.
