I do not remember precisely, but I think I still did not write a post entitled “Intermittent fasting.”
In this text, I will try to describe (not the first time on the www.adammmazek.com website) what my way of doing intermittent fasting looks like. I will start with the fact (it is the first time I have written about it) that one week ago (I wrote this post on the 27th of November, 2021), I examined my health by doing blood tests and morphology. Almost all results were good, except for elevated cholesterol. The doctor told me to observe it. Moreover, she stated that there is no need to worry too much about it if I feel good because the medicine is curing ill people and not improving the health exams. All other results were excellent from the point of view of my health. All these exams I took eleven months after starting doing intermittent fasting.
Suppose you do not know from which point to start regarding fasting.
In that case, I recommend reading Dr. Jason Fung’s book, entitled “The Complete Guide to Fasting: Heal Your Body Through Intermittent, Alternate-Day, and Extended Fasting.” Intermittent fasting is not a diet. Undoubtedly, it is a lifestyle. This is how I do it:
- I eat only between 7 p.m. – 12 p.m.;
- I avoid as much as possible (it is not always possible) eating sugar, candies, processed food, etc.;
- during fasting, I drink only water and coffee (sporadically broth and tea);
- When I eat, I focus on eating: eggs, meat (many kinds!), vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, pepper, avocado), nuts, and peanuts.
- I eat fruits and fish sporadically.
This is my way of doing intermittent fasting. As I mentioned at the beginning of this text, I am healthy. Moreover, I FEEL salubrious. I have no doubt that fasting much improved my well-being. I genuinely recommend you, my Dear Friend, to do it. Only children, pregnant and breastfeeding women should not do intermittent fasting.
