I wrote the “Me against a blank white sheet of virtual paper” text on the 25th of April, 2026, when I did not know what I wanted to write.
Unfortunately, I had many similar days in the past. It is not the first time in my life that I am struggling with writer’s block. Luckily, I have a piece of advice not only for you, my Dear Friend, but also for myself. When you do not know what you want to write, start writing your thoughts. Once I reminded myself of that advice, I suddenly realized that a blank white sheet of virtual paper is my enemy, which I should conquer. Indeed, it happens practically always when I write. Still, sometimes I feel inspired enough that I know I will conquer the blank sheet of virtual paper quickly. On the other hand, sometimes, like today, I am struggling. I do not know what I want to share with others. I do not feel I have anything profound to communicate.
Perhaps I am frequently too fatigued to write.
After all, I write in the evening (sometimes in the late evening). Perhaps if I did it in the morning, with my fresh mind, my process of writing would look better. I remember that in the previous years, I had moments when I was waking up at 6 a.m. and writing. Today, I believe that sleeping is the most important thing to live long and in good health. I do not know if the quality of my texts decreased or increased over the last few years. For me, it is practically impossible to judge it fairly. I believe that only some kind of cyber-archaeologists will judge it, one hundred years after my death. For now, I do not have to worry about. I am finishing this text. That’s how I overcame a battle against a blank white sheet of virtual paper.
