For me, street photography is never-ending fun.
I wrote this text on the 22nd of December, 2025. It was a day when I was doing street photography in one of Warsaw’s districts, Wesoła (I took over 200 photos). It was the first time I was doing street photography in this district. While doing it, I realized that street photography is never-ending fun for me. Was there something interesting to photograph in Wesoła? Yes and no. No, because I was imagining that most of the people walking along the streets I walked today would say that there is nothing interesting and nothing to photograph here. Still, for me, I had a feeling that there were never-ending possibilities to do street photography here.
Was it the first time I had such feelings? Of course, not.
Practically always when I go out and do street photography in my neighborhood (Mokotów district), I have a feeling that taking photos on Warsaw streets will be a never-ending fun for me. I cannot explain it, but mundane and ugly reality truly inspires me. It is not the case that I do not want to see beautiful, tropical places. I want to see them. Still, each time I walk and do street photography on the same Warsaw streets, I always feel inspired and always see something different to capture.
Tomorrow, due to my office work, I won’t do street photography.
Luckily, I still have four days to do street photography during the last days of 2025. I will be doing it in my neighborhood. I have no doubt it will be fun for me. Without this childish joy, I would not be doing it. I keep my fingers crossed for you, my Dear Friend. I hope you also have a never-ending joy, without which you could not live, somehow.
