The title of this text is a quote and refers to the great The Smiths’ song “What Difference Does It Make.”
Oh, I’m too tired
I’m so sick and tired
During the last few days (I wrote this text on the 5th of December, 2025), I was singing the above quotation many times in my mind. After all, my office job made me feel exhausted. I wanted to sleep many times after a hectic time spent in my office job. That’s the way it is. How happy I am that during the next two days I will be able to take a rest. I plan to go to Brok, to my beloved Parents’ house. Also, I plan to enjoy free time by, among others, rucking in the healing forest in Brok. I love weekends and moments when I can easily take a rest and sleep.
I wrote many times that proper relaxation is more crucial than hard work.
Without rest, there won’t be hard work. During times when I doubt in my office work, I try to imagine that by doing it, by earning money and paying income taxes, I am contributing to the wealth of the Polish society. After all, during the last day, we, Poland, were officially invited to the G-20 Summit, which will take place in the US in 2026.
It means that during my lifetime, Poland transformed from a relatively poor post-communist economy to one of the most powerful countries, at least in Europe.
I have no doubts that I contributed to this long and challenging way by leading a responsible, but also sometimes stressful and hectic, professional life in my finance job. That’s why I love doing street photography, writing, rucking, and managing my blog, because it provides me with some kind of escapism from the difficult professional life. I must go to sleep. Good night, my Dear Friend.
