The first post about the photographic equipment I published almost three years after starting my blog. The name of the text was Nikon D90.
What does this mean? For me, it proves that broadly understood technical issues are a second, if not tertiary, matter. It doesn’t matter what photographic equipment you use. Outstanding photos can also be taken with an average cell phone. It is the photographer who is the brain of the entire operation, named “Photography.” When taking pictures, you should analyze (even if it happens in fractions of a second) what you see in front of your eyes. The photographer is an artist who, in 99.9% of cases, is responsible for what is in the frame.
For me, the best solution would be to photograph with my current photographic equipment, Nikon D90, until the end of my life.
It was a coincidence that I bought the Nikon D90 camera. It was the purchase made rather instinctively. Of course, I am glad that I purchased this specific photographic equipment. Still, I believe that I would be content if I had bought a Canon camera. Many photographers tend to say which camera they use, what lenses they possess, and so on. The fact is that since 2012, that is since the date when I bought Nikon D90, I use one lens (Nikon 18-105VR). I do not plan to change this lens either.
Moreover, I do not care whether there a lot of new stuff on the photographic market. I do not trace news regarding new photographic equipment. Having good old Nikon D90 with one lens is good enough option to photograph until the end of my life. The fact is that I do not understand trends in a broadly defined photographic world to possess as good photographic equipment as possible. Luckily, I am aware that I do not have to understand everything that occurs in our society. It is not necessary to my existence.
