Today (I wrote this text on the 29th of March, 2026, on the 41st of my birthday), I managed to take 11.5k steps with a rucksack weighing 37.5 kg (83 lbs) without a single break!
I remember that at the end of 2025, I was writing that once I manage to take three subsequent similar walks, I will consider increasing the weight of my backpack. Today, it was the first time I managed to walk with the heaviest possible (as of now) weight on my back and shoulders, after my calf injury. That’s how I realized that, indeed, I returned to my prime time! I love rucking. It makes me feel alive. Also, I love doing street photography. After all, today, I managed to take almost two hundred pictures. That’s a great result. Yesterday, I managed to take over 15k steps and shoot over three hundred photos. How many breaks did I have yesterday? After all, I was rucking again, with a backpack weighing 37.5 kg.
Yesterday I took “only” one break.
Do I feel my muscles after these two hectic walks? After all, they were not easy to perform. Yes, I feel my muscles from head to toe. I love it. It is not only the visual case. I simply feel much better. Of course, I also feel stronger, not only physically, but also mentally. Tomorrow, I will go to the office. Undoubtedly, I will be rucking again, but with a rucksack weighing 30 kg (I’ve never taken 37.5 kg to my office work, because that would be too much for me, and I would go to the office sweating – I do not think it would be a good idea). For now, I must finish this writing. To remain in my prime time, I must sleep properly. There is no doubt about it. Sweet dreams, my Dear Friend.
