For me, Marvin Gaye’s song named “Sexual Healing” is the sexiest and the most sensual song that I have ever heard.
It was not the first time when YouTube suggested a new song. This time, it was Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing.” I heard this song many times before, mainly on the radio, but I suppose it was quite long ago. Gaye’s masterpiece confirmed one thing regarding broadly defined art. Sensuality, referring to the audience’s feelings, is the most crucial issue in creating masterpieces. After listening to this song, I started to ask myself questions: Why are songs with vulgar video clips or texts, not the sexiest songs? Marvin Gaye proved that the artist does not have to be rude in terms of singing about sex. He showed that sensuality, charm can be the key to be successful in broadly defined art.
Speaking shortly: YouTube reminded me about a forgotten (for me) song that I started to love once again in my life.
I have no idea why many singers, bands, decide to add many tits, asses, etc. in their video clips. What is worse, I think that texts of songs are often vulgar, literal; they talk about the human body as a material thing. I suppose that often they want to shock the audience. For me, such songs or video clips are boring. If I wanted to watch naked women on the screen, I would choose porn sites rather than dull video music.
I do not understand the attitude towards sex in many musician groups. The art creating does not rely on literal presenting things. It is the feeling, delicacy that counts most in broadly defined art. For me, the “Sexual Healing” song is a masterpiece filled with a lot of incentives, feelings, and desires. If you did not hear a titled Marvin Gaye’s music, I genuinely recommend it right now, my Dear Friend.
