The starting point for today’s post is this: if you do not start to speak aloud about your passion, about the art you make (whether it is photography, painting, sculpting, and so on), no one will do it for you.
I think that I never was an excellent orator. I wouldn’t say I like to talk too much. In general, I am an introverted kind of person. That is why running this blog was an excellent idea to start to speak aloud about my passion. If you are still in doubt about whether you want to launch your website or wait that maybe someone will do it for you, you are wrong. It is you who should take care of expressing your thoughts and ideas to the audience. No one will start to promote you (unless your name is Fyodor Dostoyevski, Salvador Dali, or David Bowie).
The fact is that thanks to this website, I can express myself more neatly, precisely, audibly, and visibly.
Moreover, by starting this blog and writing English texts, I am aware that the audience who can see my posts is the audience from every corner of our planet. Nevertheless, the aim of my artistic activity is not to possess as many fans as possible. The site’s name is not “Instagram.” It is not the quantity but the quality that counts. Even if there will be one person who will say that I inspired him/her, I will be delighted. And you know what, my Dear Friend? I’ve already heard such messages a few times. Thus, I know that I am in the right way in all my doings.
Thus, for me, my passion is already a success.
It is not the money which is a measure of success. It is the human who can express his feelings about my art that counts. In general, I believe neither money nor even other people who live today will be an accurate measure of my art value. A precise measurer will be someone who will write something aloud about my art in the next one hundred years after my death.
