Today (I wrote this text on the 13th of February, 2026), after finishing my work earlier, and after getting out of my house to do street photography, I told myself, with a smile on my face, that the weekend is coming.
How happy I was when I realized I would be doing street photography for the next two hours and that I would repeat this tremendous activity within the next two days. I took over 200 pictures today. While walking, sometimes I was thinking about many topics, starting from geopolitics, ending with my current professional issues (remember, my Dear Friend, that I work in a broadly defined finance area). Or, sometimes, my mind was somehow shutting down. It meant that I was simply walking, without being aware of it. I love this flow. I love this state of mind. The truth is that I believe it is some kind of meditation while walking. Perhaps we cannot meditate while walking. I’ve never done this activity before.
Still, I think I somewhat unconsciously do it, that I meditate while walking.
While walking and rocking in the clouds, that is, without thinking at all, I feel I am becoming one with the world. I love life. Even if I die tomorrow, I know I could say I did all my best to eternalize my thoughts and feelings by taking pictures of mundane reality, writing, and publishing everything on the www.adammazek.com blog. I do not want to live anything else. Also, I am truly grateful that I could live between 1985 (I was born this year) and 2026. I do not need much to be happy. A piece of daylight and blue sky is sufficient for me to be happy. I am glad that during the next two days I will do street photos. It fuels my passion, soul, and mind. Let the weekend begin!
