Julia Cameron’s book „Living The Artist’s Way” inspired me to write my wish list.
To be honest, I’m pretty skeptical about this kind of thing. On the other hand, though, I thought to myself, what’s the harm in writing down and saying out loud what I want, wish, and what my dreams are? It’s just text written in black and white. Still, maybe after writing my wish list, I’ll start—more or less consciously—directing my thoughts and actions toward making my wishes and dreams come true? Let’s play this game.
Here’s my “wish list”:
1) I wish my beloved Kamilka, my Parents, family, friends, and myself to live at least one hundred years in relatively good health, shape, and mood.
2) I wish to be creatively productive (doing street photography, writing, managing my website + even more) for at least the subsequent 60 years (I wrote this text while being forty years old).
3) I wish to have much more free time for my creative passion than I had during the last couple of years.
4) I wish to earn a lot of money from my creative passion (doing street photography, writing, managing the www.adammazek.com blog + even more).
5) I wish to publish my own photo albums and books.
6) I wish that Taschen, Phaidon, and Thames and Hudson would publish photo albums and books about me.
7) I wish to live in Warsaw with my beloved Kamilka for at least the next 60 years.
8) I wish to travel more and see all the continents.
9) I wish that Poland would become one of the strongest, robust, and resilient countries (both military and economically), not only in Europe, but worldwide.
10) I wish that Russia would lose the war against Ukraine, give away all the Ukrainian territories (including Crimea and Donbas), and become one of the weakest countries worldwide.
11) I wish to read most of the Taschen, Phaidon, and Thames and Hudson books.
12) I wish to do intermittent fasting, exposing my body to cold (by taking cold showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures), and rucking for at least the next 60 years.
13) I wish many people would want to buy the www.adammazek.com t-shirts.
14) I wish our cat, Azorek, would live as long as possible in good health.
15) I wish peace would conquer the world.
16) I wish not to have too many worries in the future.
17) I wish to walk with a rucksack weighing 80 kg (176 lbs) while rucking.
18) I wish to be remembered as a good and creative person.
19) I wish to see Earth from the Moon.
20) I most especially wish to have kids with my beloved Kamilka, and that they will have a bright future in good health.
21) I wish to have unlimited numbers of wishes.
