I love to dream aloud.
Last time I realized that my post entitled “Taschen Books” was the first text in which I openly started dreaming aloud of designing and publishing my own books about my artistic activity. Undoubtedly, “Diaries” are a partial fulfillment of my dreams. Today, I publish my personal notes online. Still, I believe that it is only a matter of time when traditional, paper-based publications will appear on the book market. I believe in myself, but I don’t have any deadlines for today. Moreover, I’m not going to bother with them for today. Why? Because I have enough work to do with taking photos, writing texts, and running a website.
In the post “Taschen Books,” I also noted, among other things, that the best software for creating albums is InDesign.
Unfortunately, I did not know this program when I wrote the “Taschen Books” post, and the truth is that I don’t know it today (I wrote this post on the 12th of June, 2021). So how do I prepare “Diaries” and photo sets, such as “Negation of End” or “Bird”? I do this thanks to the Visme app. Thanks to this application preparing subsequent editions of “Diaries” and collections of pictures is pure enjoyment.
I published the “Taschen Books” post on the 25th of March, 2019. How happy I am that within half a year (the first edition of “Diaries” appeared in September 2019), I started fulfilling my dreams.
Undoubtedly, it is the beginning of my creative journey.
I have no doubt that sooner or later, “Diaries” will be published in paper form. I do not know if I do that as a self-publishing project or Taschen will do it after my death.
In this post, I want to stress that thanks to realizing that in the “Taschen Books” post, I first dreamt aloud about creating and publishing my own books; I also confirmed in myself that it is the creative process that counts. I recommend, my Dear Friend, to dream aloud. Why? Because sooner or later, your dreams will come true.
