Each time I write, I use my intellect to create something out of nothing.
I wrote this text on the 19th of December, 2025. It was a day when I recalled the Gallup test that I took in September 2023. My first talent is the “Intellection Strength” (the other ones, from the first five, are: Developer, Input, Learner, and Individualization. What does it mean that I am intellectual? It means I am introspective and appreciate intellectual discussions. Regarding discussions, I often write to my imaginary “Dear Friend.” I like to discuss with him and describe the world as I see it. Still, I believe that, in most cases, my imaginary Dear Friend is myself. Sometimes I want to reassure myself in some points of view, my rights, etc.
I am validating my own thoughts, behaviors, and actions.
I believe the fact that I write and manage the www.adammazek.com blog proves that I am introspective and discuss with myself. While doing it, I am transforming my thoughts into written words. Et voila, that’s how I use my intellect to create something out of nothing. The “Intellection Strength” is also connected with reading books. People like me do like doing this mental activity. After all, during my lifetime, I read almost all Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s works, many Stanislaw Lem’s books, and one of the longest ever written books: “In Search of Lost Time” by Marcel Proust. Also, I had and still have many (for me, countless) books from Taschen, Phaidon, Thames and Hudson, or the Polish Bosz publishing houses.
In my case, having books really means reading them.
I love to acquire knowledge from them. I transform this knowledge through my introspective mind and all my experiences, and, again, et voila, I am creating something out of nothing thanks to my intellect, because, in general, I note down my insights and ideas. Then, I am developing them while writing text for this blog. I think I’ve already written many posts about reading. The truth is that wherever I go, I always take at least one book with me.
