I wrote this text on the 1st of April, 2026. It was a day when I realized I hadn’t been doing street photography for two days.
Am I sad? Yes, I am. After all, my dream is to be able to do street photography wherever I want. Still, during the last two days, I had to be focused on my professional work. Tomorrow or even the day after tomorrow, I am afraid I won’t be able to do street photography as well. I simply have too much work regarding Quarter End Close and working on the Financial Statements/Audit. Even though since Sunday we have Daylight Saving Time in Poland, the days are getting really long; I simply do not have time to get out of my home (today, I worked remotely; I suppose that during the next two days, I will be working remotely as well). That’s the way it is. I remember that similar things happened during the last few years.
It is hectic moments for people working in broadly defined accounting and finance areas.
For today, I must simply accept it, and I am comforting myself that during the next 6 months, I will be able to do street photography more frequently. I must accept such breaks. Perhaps I should be happy, because I hope that my right calf (I do not know if you remember, my Dear Friend, that in the middle of January 2026 I had an injury to my right calf) will be cured totally. To be honest, sometimes, while walking, I feel discomfort in my right leg. I cannot walk too fast due to an injury. I love such struggles regarding balancing my professional life and creative passion. After long hours spent in front of my monitor, I know that the joy from doing street photography will be only strengthened.
