I did not know what to write. Thus, I decided to write about what’s new in January 2022.
Speaking more precisely, I wanted to write what the Polish mainstream media were talking and writing about. Besides domestic political games (wars?), the most prevalent issues are the coronavirus pandemic and the potential war between Russia and Ukraine. While writing the first sentences of this text, I realized that I did not want to write about COVID-19 and possible wars. I do not like to worry and do not want to worry about external issues. The truth is that I do not have an influence on all things that are happening around me and my homeland.
Do I afraid of war?
Yes, I do. I believe that practically all people fear wars, famine, economic crises, pandemics, etc. Still, I do not want to focus on all these aspects here, on the www.adammazek.com website. My blog is my free virtual world, where I do not want to hurt anyone. Still, the truth is that I sometimes feel that mass media are continually bombarding the XXI century man with negative information. I know that many people would like to escape from this kind of sad news. Undoubtedly, we can try to avoid bad news as much as it is possible by not watching television or not surfing the Internet, including social media platforms. Unfortunately, I think that for people living in big cities (e.g., Warsaw), there is no possibility of escaping from not hearing drastic information.
That’s why I try to be like water. No matter what happens and what will happen in the future, I will always try to stay neutral on all external issues. It is a difficult thing to do. Well, I was supposed to write about „What’s new in January 2022.” I would summarize that, luckily, nothing happened in my life in the titled period. No news is good news.
