Often, when I close my eyes late at night and want to sleep, thoughts about my artistic activity pop up in my head.
It appears involuntarily. Not really wanting to, but knowing that I’ll regret it if I don’t, I take my cell phone and jot down my thoughts on virtual paper. Why do I do it? Because there is a high probability I will return to my introspections in the future while writing the subsequent text for the blog, like this one, entitled “When I close my eyes.” Am I daydreaming while closing my eyes before going to sleep? Undoubtedly, I am daydreaming like 99% of other sleepy people. What thoughts appear in my mind when I close my eyes before sleeping? Many. Some of them are connected with music.
Often, I listen to music for a few minutes before I sleep.
Music stimulates my mind. It gives many insights into my mind. Sometimes, I wonder what mental activity provides me with more incentives: listening to music or reading books. I cannot give a precise answer for today (I wrote this text on the 22nd of September, 2023). A similar issue is with calming down and clearing my mind before sleep. I cannot explain why, during this magical moment, I suddenly received great ideas to write. My laziness and need to sleep tell me I should not take my iPhone to write down my thoughts.
Still, the conscious part of my mind tells me to do it.
That’s why I usually take my iPhone and write down my inspiration, even though I am tired and want to sleep. In today’s post, I want to stress that a miracle happens when I close my eyes. I believe similar miracles can happen in millions of other people’s eyes and minds. I keep my fingers crossed for your inner incentives, my Dear Friend. I hope you will also find inspiration in your mind, heart, imagination, and soul. Then, you can jot down your incentives, even if your eyes are closing slowly.
