I sometimes wonder where my pictures will be within one hundred years.
I wrote this text on the 21st of February, 2022. It was a day when I started wondering where my pictures will be within one hundred years. The truth is that I have hundreds of small-format photographs developed in my house in Warsaw. Some of my photos are in my parents’ family house in Brok. A small part of my images I gave to my Friends. Ten photos I sold in bulk in Poland. To be more precise, I sold the first set of my photographs, entitled “Farewell.” I know these pictures are still hanging on the walls of the buyer in Warsaw. Three other pictures I sent via the Artfinder platform to two persons living in London (UK).
These were pictures as follows:
– Darth Vader (from the “Birds” set);
– Profile (from “Ostensible abstraction” set);
– Dead End (from the “Street Photography” set).
Moreover, I sold nine photographs via the Artfinder platform in the United States of America. To be more precise, I sold:
– Walking on the water (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Macungie (PA);
– Take off (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Macungie (PA);
– Bow down (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Macungie (PA);
– Starets (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Macungie (PA);
– Birds gathering (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Macungie (PA);
– Pals (from the “Birds” set). I sent it to Rumson (NJ);
– Go Up (from the “Living in Poland” set). I sent it to Austin (TX);
– Beauty (from the “Living in Poland” set). I sent it to Austin (TX);
– Nice book (from the “Living in Poland” set). I sent it to Austin (TX).
All these pictures you can find on my Artfinder account by clicking here. I write about all these issues because someone, someday (perhaps one hundred years after my death), can make an investigation where all my pictures are. I suppose that cyber-archeologists will do it.
