I wrote this text on the 26th of November, while being fatigued.
The truth is that during the last two days I was working for ten hours in my office job (remember, my Dear Friend, I work in a broadly defined finance). Even though I literally did not have enough mental energy to write this text, I decided to write it. How was it possible? I had to take an almost 30-minute nap before 11 p.m. Without it, I would not write it. Realizing it, I recalled the time when, together with my beloved Kamilka, we were on a short trip to Zakopane and Kraków. The truth is that during our short holidays, we were sleeping longer than usual. Also, I was not so exhausted due to my office job. It means writing texts appeared to be prepared much more easily for me when I was not exhausted, but when I had rested my mind.
Did I discover America by writing this?
Of course, not. I was writing about it many times. Also, there is plenty of research telling that to be creative and efficient in whatever mental task, one should have a rested mind. Writing while being fatigued is something I don’t like as much as writing with a rested mind. When I write while being rested, words naturally flow from my mind into written words lightly, and naturally, I would say. On the other hand, when I am exhausted and when I try to write anything, I feel that writing one sentence is a pain for my mind and that I literally do not have anything to communicate to the world. Luckily, today’s nap saved my day, so that I managed to recharge my brain a little bit, and write this text. In general, usually, when I am exhausted, I try to write something, even if it hurts my mind.
