Today (I wrote this text on the 10th of December, 2023), I will write about yawning.
While doing street photography and writing, I do not yawn (unless I am too tired after my office work in the evening). What does it mean? It means all my creative activities do not bore me. In the same way, I cannot imagine artists who created their masterpieces and were bored while preparing, and they were yawning. Without a childish curiosity and joy, you would not see everything I write and publish on the www.adammazek.com website. Street photography and writing helped me to realize my soul. The truth is that throughout many years of my life (between when I was born in 1985 and 2015, when I regularly started doing street photography), I did not know I had a creative superpower thanks to which I can visually transform mundane reality into the black-and-white magic otherworld and my thoughts and insights into texts written on the virtual paper.
Yawning does not have anything in common with all these artistic activities. I cannot imagine Vincent van Gogh and Zdzislaw Beksinski being in a painting mood and yawning.
Moreover, I cannot imagine Marcel Proust and Stanislaw Lem being bored while writing their remarkable masterpieces. Did the Beatles yawn while playing and singing their magical songs? I doubt it. All geniuses mentioned above and thousands of others were absorbed by their creative processes that were flowing with their blood and electrical discharges occurring in their brain, through their whole body. We can watch the results of their masterpieces in paintings, read in novels, or listen on YouTube. The more I write about all these things, the more I see and feel the world of creativity is infinite. There are still many places for new writers, painters, photographers, musicians, dancers, bloggers, etc. Do not doubt yourself, my Dear Friend, that you do not have creative powers. Stop yawning, and do what your heart and soul tell you to do.
