Today (I wrote this text on the 13th of March, 2026), I made 640 pictures and 24k steps in one day.
If you read my last two posts, my Dear Friend, undoubtedly, you know that during the last two days I took many pictures and took many steps. It happened due to global internet issues at my employer. Knowing that, I decided these three extra days would be mainly for street photography. 640 pictures and 24k steps are today’s result. Considering that two days ago I took 880 pictures while taking 31k steps, and yesterday I took 571 pictures while taking 25k steps, we can easily count that on average, I took 697 pictures and took 26.6k steps daily within three days. I believe it is a great result, and I honestly doubt if I will manage to break this record in the future.
I simply felt I needed to fill my spiritual need of creating (in this particular example, doing street photography).
Yesterday, I did not mention which neighborhoods I was walking through (I believe that within the next one hundred years, someone will be very interested in where I was walking). So, on the 13th of March, 2026, I was walking in such neighborhoods as:
a) Raków, Stare Włochy (Włochy district);
b) Szczęśliwice, Stara Ochota (Ochota district);
c) Filtry, Śródmieście Południowe (Śródmieście district);
d) Stary Mokotów, Wierzbno, Wyględów (Mokotów district).
On the other hand, today, I started in my beloved Wyględów, and then I went as follows (all neighborhoods belong to the Mokotów district): Wierzbno, Sielce, Stegny, Ksawerów, Służewiec, and ending, again, in Wyględów.
Do I plan to repeat such a hectic walk tomorrow? Yes and no. No, because I do not plan to take over 20k steps on the 4th day in a row. Yes, because tomorrow I plan to have a hectic walk. We call this activity rucking: tomorrow I plan to go with a rucksack weighing 37.5 kg (83 lbs) and take at least 10k steps.
