Today (I wrote this text on the 17th of March, 2026), while walking and doing street photography after my office job, I realized I have been doing street photography for 7 days in a row.
I believe it is a great result. I do not know if I will manage to walk and do street photography tomorrow, for the 8th day in a row, but still, I am simply glad I managed to do it. During these days, I was rucking twice (on Saturday and Sunday; I wrote this text on Tuesday). I carried a backpack weighing 37.5 kg (83 lbs). Tomorrow, I plan to ruck, but with a rucksack weighing “only” 30 kg (66 lbs) due to the fact that I will be returning from the office to home. I do not know if I will manage to do street photography. In that case, I will have to finish my work at 4 p.m. I hope it will happen, but I do not have to put pressure on myself.
After all, walking and doing street photography for 7 days in a row makes me feel creatively fulfilled.
When I think that it is early spring and that during the next 6 months I will be able to walk and do street photography on most days, I feel tremendous happiness and gratitude. I love the broadly defined creation processes, with street photography and writing at the forefront. I love the moment when the frames ready to be captured appear in front of my eyes and when the stream of words is flowing out of my mind to appear on the virtual white sheet of paper. For now, I will have to go to sleep, as tomorrow there will be another exciting day. Who knows, maybe I will manage to do street photography. Luckily, I do not know what the future holds.
