I wrote the “I must write to thrive” text on the 18th of February, 2026.
On that day, I recalled that I had written nothing the day before. Then, I told myself that it was a shame and a sad occurrence I wrote nothing. Today, I decided to note something, even though I returned from my office job being totally fatigued. I decided to write for the sake of writing. Not for the first time in my life, I told myself I want to write to develop and exercise my intellect and mindset. Even though I know I won’t write anything profound in this particular text, I want to walk through it, note it, and deep dive into my own thoughts, to transform my own musings into written words for future generations.
I am only a human.
I won’t write something profound each time I do it. Sometimes, like yesterday, I do not write anything. That’s the way it is. Sometimes I am too attached to the things that happen in my professional job. This can mean that sometimes I feel like I have nothing to state and to share with you, my Dear Friend. Still, I create to survive. I write and create because I believe in the deep meaning of this activity. Sometimes I ask myself whether I am a writer (undoubtedly, I am a blogger). Who told me I cannot have many personalities?
Who told me I cannot be a shapeshifter, shifting from my professional environment full of Excel files and financial statements, where each number must be explained, to an artist who is photographing beautiful, mundane reality, and a writer who writes about his own musings regarding various topics.
I do not know if my texts will be read in the future. I hope so. Perhaps my musings like this will help someone somehow one day, and inspire them that even if there are days when we do not have anything groundbreaking to communicate, we can always try to do our best to share our ideas with the external world. Let the world hear our thoughts by reading them!
