I’m okay.

August 14, 2026 by Adam Mazek

I wrote this text on the 23rd of February, 2026. It was a day when I could say I was okay.

Still, why was this day special that I could say so? It was because, while writing this text at 11 p.m., I could say I had fasted for almost 48 hours. Also, I was on my 28th hour of dry fasting. That’s why I decided to write the text “I’m okay.” I feel good. I see that my face is really… young and beautiful. I do not fast for a good look. Still, the truth is that fasting’s properties are remarkable. I have no doubts that it would improve my health and well-being. It is not the case that they were bad. On the contrary, I think that since I started doing intermittent fasting, my health has improved.

For today, the only thing I can complain about regarding my health is my right calf.

Of course, it is related to the injury I had on the 15th of January, 2026. Still, it was a mechanical trauma, not issues connected with inflammatory issues in my organism. Do I feel hungry while writing this text? Not at all. I do not even want to drink water. The human organism is a perfect machine, hardwired to cope with long periods without food or water. Also, fasting is the most potent thing we can do for our health. So why is it not so popular as it should be?

Because it’s free.

No one would earn money on this. That’s why the biggest companies from the FMCG and pharma industries are so rich and potent, because they managed to convince societies that people should eat regularly to be healthy (once they get sick, we have medicines for you). Am I afraid of anything in relation to my fasting? No. I do it in a controllable environment. After all, I always have a fridge with meat, vegetables, eggs, and nuts to break fast.
