I’m still standing.

I wrote the “I’m still standing” text on the 6th of May, 2026.

The main point of writing this was to reduce the backlog from the day before yesterday. The truth is that I was writing the “Backlog” and “I’m still standing” texts simultaneously. Why did I decide to title my second text “I’m still standing?” It was because the last days/weeks at my professional job are truly hectic; sometimes I literally do not have the energy to work, but I do it, and I believe I am the winner. Of course, I consider myself a winner not only in my professional job, but also in my hobby. The essence of this hobby you can find on this web page, my Dear Friend. Street photography and writing are something that really fuels me.

Of course, I would not be able to work so hard and do long at my professional job, doing street photography, writing, and managing this website without doing intermittent fasting (in general, I do not eat before 7 p.m.), exposing my body to cold by taking cold showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures, and rucking (I walk with the backpack weighing 37.5 kg [83 lbs]).

That’s why I hope to live long and in good shape, thanks to the things mentioned in the earlier sentence. I’m still standing, and I am fucking proud of myself. Today, I want to speak loudly. I know I am not a demigod. Still, I know that not many people would do all the things mentioned above simultaneously. Is it difficult? Yes, it is. Still, without this high level of difficulty, there would be no fun. That’s the way it is. Even though I know I had to resign from many photo-walks during the last few weeks, I know I will get it back. After all, I’m still standing, and I feel that since I started rucking, I am in my prime all the time. Walking with heavy weights is one of the best things I could do for myself.
