Will I want to write today about the imbalance between my professional and personal life? No.
Even though the imbalance between my professional and personal life during the last months has been highly disturbed, I’m still standing. After all, today (I wrote this text on the 7th of April, 2026), I managed to do street photography straight after my office work. I made over 13k steps and took over 150 pictures. Considering I had a rucksack weighing 30 kg (66 lbs) on my back and shoulders, I believe it was a tremendous result. But what about the tilted imbalance? The truth is, sometimes the weight of my backpack makes me slightly unbalanced. Perhaps in those moments, I resemble a staggering drunk. That’s why I decided to write today’s post about it. I simply feel that sometimes I can resemble a drunk, staggering person.
Today, while strolling, I decided to note down this thought, which came to mind a few months ago.
I would treat this text as a curiosity. Of course, in general, I walk straight. Before I started rucking, I was never staggering. Still, as of now, my heavy rucksack sometimes makes me feel imbalanced. Was I happy today that I was doing street photography? Yes, I was tremendously happy. I hope that I will find a balance in my professional and personal life during the next few months. I have simply hope. Tomorrow, I also hope to do street photography. After all, the days are already long enough that even if something urgent comes up, I will always be able to take photos on Warsaw’s streets even during late afternoon.
Street photography is my obsession.
I am glad that my obsession is not drinking alcohol or smoking weed. I think that walking and taking photos is my addiction. I am glad it happened. From all the possible addictions, I would choose this one. I love it!
