Undoubtedly, for me, street photography is a passion for searching.
But what do I look for on Warsaw’s streets? I would say that I am searching for nothing and everything. Undoubtedly, I am looking for good frames to immortalize with my camera. I want to catch the pieces of reality and then compose them as some kind of jigsaw. I love it. The truth is that I cannot live without it. I know I wrote it many times, but sometimes I simply need it. I wrote this text on the 27th of April, 2026. It was a day when I did street photography (without rucking). I did almost 10k steps and took 100 pictures. That’s a great result (I believe that even if I took much less than 10k steps and below 100 pictures, I would still claim that it was a tremendous result).
While walking, I sometimes feel like a hunter, hunting for its prey.
Of course, I do not want to kill anyone. I just want to hunt for a great picture and eternalize it for future generations. Street photography makes sense. The longer I do it (I started doing it in October 2015), the more I see and feel it. I do not have children. I do not know if I will have some. That’s why I am convinced that running this website, writing, and taking pictures on Warsaw’s streets is one of the best things I can do for humanity.
Gluing pieces of reality onto photographs and publishing them can inspire others. How do I know it? It is because I was already inspired by many others’ photographs. The truth is that it was done mainly by albums and books. Even if I know I will never find what I’m looking for (the best picture ever made by a human), this does not prevent me from searching and trying.
