I love relishing other’s artists’ artworks. The fact is that I dream that other people will also enjoy my photographs.
While analyzing my artworks, I hope that my audience will possess similar, ambivalent experiences while relishing other famous paintings. Today, I will give you examples of other works of art that always inspire me. The first that came to my mind and inspired me to write this post is listening to Pink Floyd albums. Which albums? The answer is quite obvious: “Dark Side of the moon” and “The Wall.” Pink Floyd’s music possesses unbelievable magic and power in itself. Practically always, while listening to mentioned-above albums, I maintain mixed and different feelings. These feelings are ever-changing. They are odd and mysterious. Relishing Pink Floyd’s albums is one of the most magical things humans can experience.
Another case when I undoubtedly relish other artists’ artworks is reading and analyzing books.
These books are not typical. They are magical. We often hear that Leonardo da Vinci’s or Hieronymus Bosch’s paintings are best. It is quite a common opinion. Nevertheless, to fruitfully relish their artworks, you probably have to analyze those magical editions:
a) Frank Zöllner’s and Johannes Nathan’s “Leonardo da Vinci. The Complete Paintings and Drawings”
b) Stefan Fischer’s “Hieronymus Bosch. Complete Works”.
Taschen published two mentioned-above volumes. When you see those artworks, your imagination starts to burst. In front of your eyes, a new world will appear. Thanks to that, you begin to possess a neverending, inspirational story.
The third thing I want to write about is reading Dostoevsky’s books.
Do I have to prove to you, my Dear Friend, that reading Dostoevsky’s books is a neverending inspirational story? If yes, I will write that famous Russian novelist about whom I write the most frequently here, on this website. Russian writer gave me so much knowledge and unforgettable experiences that I continuously feel pure joy when I think about his books.
I want people who watch my pictures to have many ambivalent feelings and different thoughts in the same way I have while experiencing all the artworks mentioned above. The fact is that I could give you many additional examples of genuinely inspirational paintings, but today I focused on four famous worldwide valued artists.
Nevertheless, I hope that my audience, every time they watch my pictures, will experience my works anew, with other feelings each time.
