I wrote this text on the 7th of March, 2026, when I could easily announce that spring 2026 had arrived in Brok.
I came to my beloved parents’ house yesterday evening, after a hectic working day in my professional job (please remember, my Dear Friend, that I am working in a broadly defined finance area and I am currently focusing on preparing Financial Statements). Luckily, today, I could breathe the fresh, warm air of the healing forest in Brok. I love walking among the so-called White Forest in Brok. Today, while (without a heavy rucksack, but with the www.adammazek.com t-shirt) walking with my beloved Parents, I took over 50 photos. Compared to the number of photos I usually take in the capital of Poland, there were not that many. Still, considering I have known these forests for over 25 years, I think it was a great result.
The truth is that frames were coming to my eyes practically by themselves.
The weather was sunny, and it was 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). I know that my last texts are mainly about the weather, spring, and the fact that days are getting longer, but I am simply happy that spring 2026 is coming, or already has come. Last winter was really harsh (like most winters that happened twenty or more years ago).
Unfortunately, due to my right calf’s injury, I could not expose my body to cold as in previous years.
That’s why I am simply happy that the season is slowly changing, and I feel more possibilities in the air to do street photography in the upcoming months. I feel that somehow my mind and soul are also being reborn in the upcoming months. The truth is that I am simply grateful I could live another spring. I hope to make as many great photos as possible, not only in Warsaw, but also in Brok.
