Yesterday and today (I wrote this text on the 20th of March, 2027), I was working remotely for thirteen hours.
While writing this text on Friday late evening, I felt exhausted. Still, I wanted to write something. I wanted to communicate something to others. Then, I realized that it was mentioning the fact that during the last few days I was working for thirteen hours. One week ago, I had a third day in a row when I was not working due to a cyber attack on my employer. During those three days, I made 80k steps. I knew I had to do this because I knew I would have to work harder in the future to clear the backlog. Today, the future has come. That’s why during the last two days I had to focus on my professional job. I wrote many times on the www.adammazek.com blog that we should adapt to reality.
We should adapt to whatever the fate brings to us.
I know it is easy to write or tell about it. Still, it is the simplest truth. That’s why one week ago I took 80k steps during three days, and now, during the last two days, I was working for thirteen hours daily. I am tired. I do not have the mental resources to write. The truth is that I wrote this text with my remnants of mental strength. I want to sleep. How happy I am that tomorrow I will be able to sleep as long as possible. I need a rest. I wrote in one of my previous posts that March is the month of preparing Financial Statements. That’s why I feel I have too much work. Luckily, tomorrow, I will be rucking, walking, and doing street photography. Also, after returning home, I will be reading. I cannot wait for the weekend to come!
