I believe that by caring about Art, I also care about people.
How is this possible that by caring about Art, I also care for others? I believe that it’s all about humans’ feelings in Art. I have no doubts that Art can bring joy to one’s heart and relief. For me, Art is nutrition for the mind, heart, and soul. We have coded deep in our souls the desire to create new things. Who knows, perhaps there are genes in all of us responsible for the desire to create something from nothing. I believe that Art is also about people themselves. Human creates Art (without few exceptions, e.g., a painting made by Artificial Intelligence).
Moreover, without others, without the audience, there would be no Art.
Of course, there are many cases when people were creating something in secret. These things could be diaries, drawings, paintings, or recorded songs. Still, if one makes something for oneself, one hopes that someone will discover his works someday. I would say that Art is created for people, even if the author would deny it. Thus, by caring about Art and trying to develop myself creatively, I believe that I care about both contemporary recipients of Art and future generations. The truth is that I believe not only in myself. I also believe in humanity. I hope that we will never annihilate ourselves.
In physical terms, most of us know what we should have to live.
Water, food, adequate temperature, and atmospheric pressure are inevitable to living on this planet. Our body needs all these things. In the same way, I believe that humans’ souls also need Art: writing, reading, watching, observing, hearing, analyzing, moving, listening, dancing, contemplating, sculpting, performing, and acting to live. The process of creating is life. It is dedicated to all the people, without exception. That is why I care about Art.
