Nowadays, many of us want to boast about how it is to be a hardcore man. I do not argue with that.
I merely state that a lot of people have it. It is my observation regarding my peers and both older and younger fellows.
Today I would like to confide in one of the most hardcore things I’ve ever done in my life: it was car driving at night, when the movement is relatively small, with the Offspring “Smash” album was playing on noisy. I made it during my trip from my hometown, Brok, to Warsaw. I do not remember the speed, but I assure you, my Dear Friend, that it was not a little speed. Offspring’s “Smash” album is one of the most hardcore albums I have ever heard. How the leg pushes the gas pedal by itself while listening to the “Smash” songs and driving is incredibly dangerous.
I think that music can somehow take control of our habits while listening. In one of my previous posts, I have already mentioned that music can be a real energizer for us.
Nevertheless, I believe that driving a car at high speed and listening to Dexter Holland’s voice coming from the speakers was not necessarily responsible activity. Thus, I think that it was rather stupid, good fun. That is why I believe that it was not worth it. Is that mean that we should stop listening to “The Offspring?” Of course not. For me, hearing the Offspring’s songs composed during ’90 (including their first album “Offspring,” and subsequent albums like “Ignition,” already mentioned “Smash,” and “Ixnay on the hombre.”) is excellent fun. I recommend those albums to you, my Dear Friend if you are still looking for good hardcore music, bringing you energy to your doings.
Now, after reading this post, do you still think that I am a hardcore man? I do not think so. Many people do a lot more stupid and hardcore things in their lives.
